British Knights is a sportswear company specialising in ‘urban' styling. To target the youth market Marten created a commercial, with a story in four parts. The narrative follows a group of friends as they journey through the London Financial District. This concrete and steel landscape, in the ambient night was their play ground, the ‘knights' events unfold coming to a natural end, in the early morning.
Marten used documentary style filming to give this piece a gritty feel with edge. He introduced encounters and events that created drama and illogical resolutions to the scenes.
He also composed and created the audio for this piece.
