This run down ‘flop house' of drop-outs and drug addicts on New York's famous Bowery is as lo-fi and beaten up as you'd expect. How the residents cling to hope however, is something far more suprising. This vignette was commissioned by Universal TV and is aimed at commissioning a full feature length 16mm documentary on the poetically named Sunshine Hotel.
