Recently completed, this mini-epic of a short film is the culmination of drama development for the retro-juice collective. The company's long standing relationship with suppliers and the Film Council supported the production of Writer/Director Mark Davis' ambitious micro-movie. But it was the collective skill and resource of the company that truly enabled this declaration to the film industry that retro-juice were poised to produce their first feature film.

Currently the short film is entering the festival circuit which prohibits a full version of the short from being downloadable. However, a copy of the short can be sent out on DVD by enquiring at the Contact Us page, and details of all festival and private screenings will be posted here.


PLASTIC's Festival Trail

Plastics premiere was at Brussels International Festival of Fantastic Film back in March 2006, it has since gone from strength to strength winning the Audience Award for Best Short Film at its next outing at Sci-Fi London in April 2006. Plastic has now also won Best Film from the Curzon Soho short film summer school and although coming second at Ravenna festival in Italy - it was the film nominated for a Melies D'Or award to be decided in 2007. This is a really great achievement to have plastic acknowledged by the Federation for Fantastic Film. Find out more about the melies at www.melies.org/dargentwinners.asp.
