Plastic Film

"And I knew there was something wrong with the girl the first time I killed her"
This pumped-up, overblown thriller of a teen flick, gets rudely invaded by sci-fi as the class reject stalks the prom queen and gets more than was advertised on the packaging. PLASTIC is a short film that loves movies and doesn't pander to the expectations of those who like their short films quiet and poignant. Writer/Director Mark Davis wanted to make a mini-movie that had as much fun as Heathers and Evil Dead II whilst telling a story that gave it's low-life stalker of an anti-hero his comeuppance.
Shot on 35mm, splattered with F/X and given the full Dolby Digital surround sound treatment complete with live orchestrated score, PLASTIC has the production values of a multiplex movie. Not your average short film by any stretch, retro-juice has create a bite of comic book vigour that declares the arrival of a new feature film production company. The meltdown of style and subject providing the basis for Mark's feature script currently in development (see Pipeline).
