Angelene is a slow gentle quiet track released from ‘Is this desire'. It consists of a series of slow dissolves between sets of medium format polaroids arranged to look like photobooth portraiture. These polaroids were manipulated to make them look like the "machine" had gone wrong. The techniques used were double exposure, placing them through a washing machine in a pair of jeans, exposing them too quickly, spilling bleach. This is also mixed with brief moments of real time movement shot on a bolex.
