Robert Miles born in Switzerland as Roberto Concina built his career as a live & radio DJ. He holds an enthusiasm for electronic & experimental music which forced his first commercial release. Robert was snapped up by BMG, who released ‘Dreamland'. Fable was the 3rd single from this album. The video inspired by a snowstorm shaker and a postcard with a girl in her bath which led to the notion of synchronised swimmers - their repeat movements. Maria wanted to make something as intensely repetitive as the music so created one and a half sets - the half identical to the whole but on its side so the "swimmers" could crawl across the walls. This effect led the single to rack up 16 platinum & 12 gold discs in 21 countries worldwide.
