Mark Davis
Born with a rusty spoon in his mouth, Mark fled reality as soon as he could, and has been creating his own little worlds to live in ever since. A true believer in 'story', he is obsessed with narrative videos as the form that has the most meaning and interest for an audience. However, he is adamant that the story isn’t just slapped on, and is a vehement advocate of the narrative evolving from the track and bringing out the music first and foremost.
The strange and surreal worlds Mark creates have illustrated artists as diverse as James Blunt and Funeral For A Friend, giving the first a little more offbeat edge that you might have expected and the latter a whole lot more epic poignancy than your average rock video.
Indeed it is his ability to not be pigeon-holed by artists that have allowed him to create a fractured little home movie about the loss of intimacy for The Kills and a time bending one-shot of uncharacteristic visual flair for The Corrs. Regardless of the diverse range of music he has created films for, Mark has always provided the track something quite singular to lift the story into its own oddly believable universe.
