New Directors
Keen to develop talent and cater for the ever decreasing budgets of music videos, retro-juice has a pool of new directors keen to take on the low-end market of the industry. Supporting these directors in turn aids the industry, whilst nurturing new talent without the restrictions many production companies might impose.
Those on our books include Mark Everson whose charming narrative style and playful camera pay tribute to his idol and fellow drummer, Gondry. The Beta Brothers have already had an impact on urban music with clips for Skinny Man and Benjamin Zephaniah amongst others. Skipp have moved in on rock music with all guns blazing, Nia Vaughan completed her first clip for Guillemots and Matt Murdoch is developing a very particular brand of graphic work.
